Printing press owner abducted by YCL cadres from capital

KATHMANDU, March 18 - The cadres of the Maoists' Young Communist League (MYCL) Sunday abducted Suresh Malla, proprietor of Malla Press at Chhauni.

According to the police, YCL Kathmandu-6 area commander Bishal Dangol, along with some three dozen cadres had abducted Malla last night and herded him towards an unknown location.

Meanwhile, the MYCL has denied involvement in the abduction.

YCL coordinator Sagar claimed that Malla had been abducted by one Raju Maharjan, to whom Malla owed money. According to Sagar, Malla owed him Rs 4.15 million.

Malla?s whereabouts are still unknown, the police said.
